Description
One of the busiest places in Patras is Agios Georgios Square. It is located above the stairs of Gerokostopoulou in front of the Roman Conservatory and is a trademark for the upper city of Patras.
According to historical sources, he took it from the church of Agios Georgios, which was inside the Roman Conservatory, at its back. The church was located there before the revolution of 1821.
