Description
Golfinopoulos house was built in 1917 on the west side of Psilon Alonia square, at the junction with Messolongiou Street.
It is a two-storey building with an eclectic style as in the classic configuration of its facades it incorporates elements from currents such as art nouveau.
A special element is the circular configuration of the corner part of the building which ends in a dome covered with metal plates, which gives it a special character and grace.
The floor of the building was intended for the residence of the Golfinopoulos family, while on the ground floor was housed one of the historic cafes of Patras "Alhambra", a meeting and entertainment point for generations of Patras.
