Description
Galanopoulos house is located in the upper town of Patras, on Paleon Patron Germanou Street, in Agios Georgios Square.
It is a two-storey house with a garden on the side and the back, which was built in 1924 according to the designs of Alexandros Hatziliakos.
It is a typical example of an urban dwelling of the interwar period, with an eclectic style, where art deco elements have been incorporated.
On the ground floor, above the sidewalk, there is a portico, an element which prevails along the entire length of PP Germanou Street, while on the first floor there is a balcony-loggia, across the width of the facade.
Inside the building has embossed decorative elements on the ceilings, and painted imitations of marble cladding on the walls.
